General Lee Fan Club Exclusive...

As a grand finale to the Dukes of  Hazzard's seventh season, this General Lee wheel-stander was to be used in the last episode Opening Night At The Boar's Nest and to be used regularly throughout the eighth season.   The Second Unit Director insisted that the blower on top of the motor in the back seat not been seen in the final cut, so a lower profile carburator was installed.   With the carburator installed, the motor was unable to lift the front wheels off of the ground with two actors in the front seats.  Therefore, this entire scene was scrapped.
